Caltrain Service Changes Coming to Morgan Hill this Fall

At Caltrain’s June 6, 2019 meeting, a schedule change for the 3rd southbound train (#274) was announced. In order to service more people, Caltrain will replace service from train #274 which arrives into Morgan Hill at 7:37 p.m. with service from train #262, which would arrive in Morgan Hill at 6:16 p.m.

Currently, only about a dozen people use the #274 Train and the earlier trains serve as many as 122 passengers. This schedule change meets the earlier timeslot the ridership survey indicated people wanted –Morgan Hill riders said they wanted train service between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.

Additionally, this train would stop in Palo Alto, which is an added benefit as Palo Alto is the most utilized station in the entire system. This schedule change is expected to take place this fall.
