Dog agility courses, doggy splash pad, pools, dog-related vendors, stage with Best in Show parade and contest, dog photo booth, kids’ area (outdoor games), and outdoor seating.
*Dogs must be leashed at all times. Unleashed and ill-mannered dogs will be asked to leave the event for the safety of all those in attendance.

Open-air shopping experience with 50+ local artisan vendors, the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce Car Show, 3 live bands, kids’ area (outdoor games and entertainment), EZPZ mobile gaming truck, and more.

Frightfully fun activities for all ages including Fall games and craft stations, spooky Lego build, pop-up mini golf course, ninja warrior inflatable obstacle challenge, mobile game truck, face painting, balloon art, and more. Visit Wizard Alley, Pirate’s Cove, and snap a picture at the Memory Spot Photo Booth. Magic performance on the mainstage by Andy Amyx Illusionist from 11:30am-1pm, and spooky dance party by DJ Gettone from1:30pm-4pm. Grab your costumes and walk the Morgan Hill Downtown Association’s Annual Safe Trick-or-Treat event from 2pm-4pm, including the Jubilee Bridge Church life-size themed displays.

Why these series of events?
The intent behind the creation of the 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series is to advance local activation. This includes activating the street space of Downtown, our “center of activity” by making the activated space accessible, inclusive, and free of charge, building upon the existing city branding, promoting walkability, enhancing local visitorship, and supporting local businesses. While Morgan Hill may be home to a few other large festivals, the 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series is meant to serve the local community and build upon the existing city branding.
Cost
All 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series Events are free to the public.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms will be available and located along the closed street parameters.
Alcohol
No outside alcohol is allowed. Please patronize Downtown businesses and enjoy their outside seating. For a list of all Downtown restaurants and menus please click here.

Pet Policy/ Animals
The City of Morgan Hill happily welcomes all furry pets to outdoor events. Pets must always be leashed and cleaned up after.
Behavior
All guests in attendance are expected to respect the event space, staff members, vendors, and other guests.
Outside Food and Beverage

When is the event?
The 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series consists of 3 event dates happening on the 4th Saturday of the following months: August 26, Saturday, September 23, and Saturday, October 28. Each event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What is the exact location?
Monterey Road between Main Avenue and 4th Street, please note that streets will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please see the map below.
What are the parking arrangements and directions?
Depot Street and the Downtown parking garage will remain open and accessible, see map. To alleviate traffic congestion there will be a “no left turn” from Depot onto Main Avenue, and for ease of exit from the parking garage please turn right on 4th Street and left onto Monterey Road.

No age restrictions for the event, we recommend that children are always accompanied by their parents or guardians.

The City of Morgan Hill this summer is bringing the 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series to town, closing a downtown street to vehicle traffic to offer immersive activities for residents and visitors one day per month from August through October…….
On January 19, 2022, the City Council directed City Staff to implement the Downtown lane reduction and a place branding/ beautification project. City Staff took to council several community project options to activate the Downtown.
