If you are in the market for a new bike, Bike Therapy, located at 17540 Depot St, is the place for you. Owned and operated by Jodi and Doug Hall, Bike Therapy opened its doors in September 2017. Both Doug and Jodi are avid life-long cyclists and are embedded in the Morgan Hill Community. We interviewed Jodi and Doug to find out more about their vision for Bike Therapy.

Why did you choose Morgan Hill?

"We fell in love with Morgan Hill because of its beauty and its access to bike trails. Prior to living in Morgan Hill, we lived in San Jose. An opportunity came up to open our very own bike shop and we couldn’t pass on it” says Doug Hall.

What types of bikes do you sell at your store?

Bike Therapy focuses on Specialized bikes with a few other brands rounding out our collection: Santa Cruz, Ibis, Electra and Subrosa.

Are there interesting trends in the Cycling world?

Electric bikes are a fast growing market. Many people are looking to buy one. We feature Specialized Turbo e-bikes.

Store hours?

Bike Therapy is open every day of the week. Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What is next for your store?

Jodi and Doug are both really involved in the Morgan Hill community and would like to continue to organize and participate in local road and mountain bike rides. They have helped organize some of the Morgan Hill bike parties (Friday night community rides) and have supported the iCare Classic, bike rodeos and family bike rides but see themselves participating even more. They helped start the South County Composite High School Mountain Bike Team, a club sport for high school kids in the Morgan Hill and Gilroy area. They are also in the middle of developing a wine and bike tour for Morgan Hill and are will be starting a bike repair class. Their passion can be clearly seen with all that they do for the bike community. One of their next events will be a White Elephant Ladies Night held on December 4, 2019.
