Who:
Weston Miles Architects. The partners of the firm are Charles Weston and Lesley Miles. They work with a talented team to bring projects to life and have been shaping and influencing the Morgan Hill community for over thirty years.
What:
They focus on creating projects that create a sense of place that resonates with history. Alongside their Granary Project, Weston Miles Architects has worked on a variety of educational facilities and socially impactful projects. Their passion has brought their biggest project, the Granary District in Morgan Hill to life and brought exciting energy to downtown.
Where:
They have built the Granary District from the ground up, battling obstacles and difficulties to create the amazing, authentic space today. The building is a tribute to the area’s agricultural heritage while also presenting a modern, efficient, LEED certified space for people to work and play.
The Granary building is host to a number of carefully curated retail businesses. It features food and drink, a bike shop, flower shop, and a DIY space. It also hosts other small businesses that take advantage of flexible office space in the building.
The Granary District also includes Barley Place, a 16 unit condominium development that offers the opportunity to live close to downtown, transit, and retail.
