Millions in tax credits offered to existing and future California businesses

Over $214.7 million in tax credits will be available in the next round of the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) program. Businesses that want to locate in or stay and grow in California and create quality, full-time jobs in the state that might not otherwise be created by the business or any other business, are eligible to apply. To learn more, register to attend one of two webinars hosted by Go-Biz on February 26 or March 6. The official application period will open on Monday, February 24, 2025, and close on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Morgan Hill to host Nationwide Conference on Economic Mobility

Representatives from 15 local governments nationwide, ranging from Arizona to Maryland, will convene in Morgan Hill at the end of January as part of the International City/County Management Association’s (ICMA) 2024 Economic Mobility Cohort. ICMA is the leading organization of local government professionals dedicated to creating and sustaining thriving communities throughout the world.

PBS series features two Morgan Hill enterprises

PBS series features two Morgan Hill enterprises

PBS Television Program “America’s Heartland” was started in 2005 with the purpose of spotlighting the farming community nationwide. Since that time, PBS has produced 17 seasons of the show which is broadcast in over 88% of the US television market. The 18th season will feature two Morgan Hill based enterprises: Morgan Hill Unified School District’s Farm-TECH hydroponic lettuce program and 5-acre Three Feathers Farm run by BIPOC Farmers and located on recognized Ohlone Muwekma land. Episodes will be available for viewing on PBS August 26th and September 2nd.
