The City of Morgan Hill is proud to announce the newest progressive policy adoption in supporting a vibrant downtown, Parklets. Organizations and businesses in Downtown Morgan Hill now have the ability to activate spaces in the public right of way. Parklets can be utilized for multiple purpose including increasing neighborhood character, extending the sidewalk and using parklet as a place to convene groups of people.
The City of Morgan Hill is proud of its partnership with OpenCounter Enterprises. The OpenCounter web-based platform allows the public easy access to information on City of Morgan Hill permit requirements and costs along with understanding the Zoning code and the use of property. The City officially launched the Business Portal tool in January 2018.
The City of Morgan Hill is excited to announce the launch of OpenCounter. Open Counter, a web-based tool, allows entrepreneurs to concentrate on their primary purpose: starting a business and creating jobs.
On February 21, 2018 the City approved a Development Impact Fee Freeze Program to stimulate commercial and industrial development within the next three years.
